Welcome to the Department of Management and Marketing! We offer a variety of degree programs that prepare students for professional, managerial, and entrepreneurial career opportunities in accounting, finance, marketing, management and information systems, as well as sport management.
Business and non-business majors have the opportunity to apply theory to practice through our numerous collaborations with local businesses and private industry. The experiences we provide our students outside the classroom have helped students graduate into careers in private, public, government, and nonprofit organizations.

The Management program develops future-ready leaders equipped to excel in a wide range of organizational settings. Students take courses in human resource management, ethics, nonprofit management, and organizational behavior, gaining the tools to lead people, manage change, and solve complex operational challenges. Our curriculum integrates diverse perspectives that strengthen applied critical thinking, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving skills. The Marketing program prepares students to strategically build and communicate brand value in an increasingly global marketplace. Students explore sales management, marketing analytics, advertising, and market research, developing creative, analytical, and cross-cultural competencies that translate across industries. The Sport Management program equips students with the skills to succeed in the business of sports, including operations, management, analytics, and community engagement. Graduates are prepared for entry-level leadership roles and positioned to pursue graduate study or professional advancement in the sports industry.
The Entertainment Management program prepares students to lead, create, and innovate across the dynamic entertainment industry. Students gain expertise in entertainment law, facility management and event planning, and risk management, building the business acumen needed to thrive in music, film, sports, live events, and emerging media.
